TimeGlider: Instructions

Date Focus

The "focus" of the viewer is the date that is 300 pixels from the left side of the screen. (There are reasons we are not using the center of the screen, reasons too ridiculous for mention.)
  • When one opens a timeline, it is at this point where the "initial focus" of a timeline sets itself.
  • This is the position on the viewer that stays fixed, date-wise, when the viewer is zoomed in or out.
  • Using the "go to" button on the navigation panel opens a few date fields so that one can specifically zip to a specific date.
